the crowd was armed, theres numerous photos of people in the capitol during the storming carrying holstered and shouldered firearms, and despite being armed, not one of them actually used their firearms, to me this demonstrates strength, not weakness, its easy to let your anger overcome you and lash out, it takes alot more effort to hold that anger back and control it, so that it cannot control you.
