Isn't shopping online confusing? It can be so complicated shopping online, I just seem to keep accidentally mis-ordering things that I then need to return. Would be a damn shame if millions of other people had the same sloppy shopping habits as me. Oh well, I'll try to get my next order right, but I have a suspicion it will also need to be returned.

Just make sure you are ordering from Amazon itself. IIRC 40% of their sales come from small independent businesses/sellers. If it is sold by Amazon it will say sold by Amazon.

I would strongly recommend not doing that. More than half the items on Amazon are sold by third party sellers. The majority of these sellers are small businesses with only a few or no employees. It may sound good to stick it to Amazon, but you likely would be screwing over a guy trying to feed his family.

I've only had to return products directly from Amazon, for some reason those are the only items I seem to be interested in buying, just a coincidence of course.

Gosh, I heard if you return too many things, or order something expensive, like a fancy vacuum cleaner or something, and then return your old vacuum in the fancy new box, they'll ban you, and NOBODY wants to be banned by Amazon, believe you me. NOBODY would order a $3,000 metal detector and return a $75 heavily used metal detector in the new detector's box, or order $400 worth of pool toys, use them on their vacation, then return them within the 30-day guarantee, because that would be wrong. And only a really fucked up person would order a bunch of vinyl albums and return the sleeves with scratched, warped swap meet vinyl from the 70s in there, that would be whack.

I remember the time I misordered a concrete patio umbrella stand. I felt terrible about it.
