Sadly, I don't think Trump has the guts to try and push that route, especially this late in the game. Its more likely he's going to retreat, leave office peacefully, and then try and start his own media company or Twitter. They'll continue to attack him and censor him. Any company he tries to start will be roadblocked from other corporations and the government. They are already preparing legislation against him when he leaves office. I worry for him and his family, they are about to have hell unleashed against them.

Agree in a sense. He grew up and built his business during a time when deals were done with a handshake and honor. Anyone who violated agreements like that would be booted out of the industry in a hot second. A little too trusting of people, but it's a great lesson for everyone. Trump caved (at least for the fight for his re-election). It seemed he was picturing something different on Jan 6th, maybe he put his last faith into Pence. He proceeded to stab him in the back and reveal he was on Biden's side. Even elbow-bumped Pelosi after.
After the Capitol event there was a cohesive push to remove him from office early. After that, he made his last speech, he seemed defeated, condemned protestors who entered the Capitol, called for peace and unity, and said his primary focus will be on an orderly transition to the "new" administration.
This all tells me he was clearly depending on only legal avenues to win, and those failed. There is no Martial Law or Insurrection Act (last routes he can use to preserve the office). Seems he has a plan, but its to retreat and continue the movement, likely by trying to start his own media company or something.

No, I was too busy thinking about why no one in the GOP or in the Trump administration bothered to file suits seeking injunctions to prevent the illegal actions of the various state officials who authorized mass mailed ballots, drop boxes, lessened scrutiny of signatures in ballots, extensions of voting deadlines, etc. 'Planning for it' would have involved doing that, and some other preventive measures - like prosecuting those who perpetrated fraud in 2016, preventing the loss of the House to the dems, avoiding Pelosi's non stop impeachment / bullshit hearings over nonsense. He wasted his first 2 years over the Mueller bullshit because he didn't have enough sense to fire Comey day 1, and appoint somebody with balls to the A.G. job, by wasting those 2 years and not enacting election reforms, we then got to waste the second half of his term fucking around with all Peloi's bullshit because the dems stole the midterms and the house. Nobody got locked up, no election reforms were passed, now the dems control everything, and will never be held accountable for any of their crimes. Elections won't be an option to remove them from power, because they control the election process now. POTUS Trump stood at the crossroads of history, where the fate of our freedoms hung in the balance, and he didn't do one single fucking thing to stop what has happened.
