Gawker released hacked emails of colin Powell about ten years ago. In those emails, Colin Powell said he only calls himself a Republican because he's trying to trigger racist Republicans. Colin Powell has not endorsed a Republican for office in 20 years. The only time he is ever on television is when he starts by saying "I'm a Republican but I disagree with Republicans" or some such thing.
