Admittedly, yes my friend. Not being a doomer , just being honest. I love this country and I love my family, this makes me so sad for both. This country has enabled me to control my own destiny, which in turn meant my family and fellow Americans had the same opportunity. I LOVED that, I love that more than I can put into words. I have nothing but a high school education, but through hard work and determination I’ve been able to succeed. The new party in power doesn’t like that and when they say they are going to tax the rich they don’t mean the Bezos and Zuckerbergs of the world they mean guys like me, guys that own the local tavern, guys that go out and break their backs day in and day out to succeed because that’s what Americans do! I was punished under the obama administration with taxation and I’ll be crucified under this insane totalitarian regime.
I think what I am most sad about is seeing the amount of hate other Americans have for this nation. I get psyched when I hear the national anthem or see one of the Washington paintings because god dammit I love America.
This is not America this is 1984, this is a reflection of Nazi Germany, but instead of making us wear the Star of David the identity us by our red hats and American flags.
I will say this my fellow patriot. The constant glimmer of hope that keeps me pushing forward is that we are all still at 37.0902° N, 95.7129° W and this is STILL America, it is our duty, our responsibility to own that, take pride in that and diplomatically reclaim it.
