What a red-pill. As a kid I grew up wanting to be a Marine, idolized it. Grew up training to get on the extended scale for a contract and really put the military on a pedestal. I had so much respect at one point when I would read about him and these "badass" politically incorrect quotes of his.

Sometimes I almost think Trump got people in for short periods of time to expose them for what they were, and to destroy the illusions of them we had and get ammo to use against them if they ever ran against him in a future election (there used to be big talks of a Mattis run). So many of these generals I thought would be patriots were all globalists. They're no General Washington. They're no General Patton. No Chesty Puller.
