Thank you, an Australian based company will probably be better! 🙂

You will be protected by Australian laws if anything goes wrong, if you use the Australian based company.

coinspot fees used to be ridiculous.

I use https://www.coinjar.com/au/ it is almost as easy to use as internet banking.

Be on guard with email and phone scammers, they will try to gain access to your pc specifically to steal stuff like that.

Australia has a lot ATO (Australian Tax Office) and MyGov scammers that usually know your name and DOB, never call back on a number that someone claiming to be from the ATO or MyGov (or any bank) has left behind.

My pop lives in Australia and he got cleaned out a few years ago.

Oh wow, that’s terrible! Yes, there’s signs up in the supermarket that warn people that the ATO will never ask you to pay your tax debt in iTunes gift cards.... 🤦🏻‍♀️ Thanks for the advice, I’m always wary.

Small amounts just use coin base. Don’t buy more then you want to spend if you’re not 100% confident on bitcoin. Don’t give any one your wallet address or other info (even pedes)

God bless you and keep you.
I'm no expert, but I am told that two resources (the Robin Hood app, and "crypto.com") are easy to use, the app especially, for beginners just looking to purchase and send crypto instead of using it as an investment.

Thank you, I’m pretty good with IT from the DOS era but have no clue what I’m doing with Bitcoin.....! 🙂 I’ll check those out, thank you.

If you’re Australian check out CoinJar. Pretty sure they’ve done a good job at taking out the complicated part of Bitcoin and basically turned it into a banking app.

Also: you’re great! :)

Good day mate! If you’re trying to buy Bitcoin check coinbase.com I don’t know if they allow people in Australia to purchase but might be a good start.

Thanks! I have Uphold because I set that up linked to my Brave browser a while back, and I set up OKEx because Bitcoin.com.au told me to. But I think OKEx is a Chinese company so screw those guys - I’ll check out coinbase, thank you 🙂
