Be on guard with email and phone scammers, they will try to gain access to your pc specifically to steal stuff like that.
Australia has a lot ATO (Australian Tax Office) and MyGov scammers that usually know your name and DOB, never call back on a number that someone claiming to be from the ATO or MyGov (or any bank) has left behind.
My pop lives in Australia and he got cleaned out a few years ago.
Oh wow, that’s terrible! Yes, there’s signs up in the supermarket that warn people that the ATO will never ask you to pay your tax debt in iTunes gift cards.... 🤦🏻♀️ Thanks for the advice, I’m always wary.
