I saw someone mention this idea a couple days ago... seems plausible.

Anyone know how trustworthy Parler really is?

The one thing I always thought was how crappy the site looked and how clunky it was.

And then there's that really dumb stock photo of a woman on the home page.... looking like something the deep state would do.

Maybe they are ok, but I do wonder...

Parler is owned by some high profile hardcore anti-establishment people. If it was hacked o well.. it's not like Equifax didn't already leak all your info.. multiple times

There’s a difference between the equifax leak and a leak of millions of Trump supporters, their entire online history in a time when democrats are making lists to purge us out of society.

Buy a firearm. It is not different. People crying about this were dumb enough to verify with photo ID. Don't EVER TRUST a corporation with personal data like that.

Like why the fuck would a “conservative” media app ask for that? When supposedly a main reason we hate social media is all the unprecedented data they take .

There were also a lot of people saying, get your free DJT coin, which is an obvious scam to collect information.

There’s already reports it was hacked before it shutdown. It could go either way but I think most likely they didn’t have the security infrastructure they needed and bypassed it to get up and running. Either way, it seems like it’s a honeypot now whether they wanted it to be or not

I don't for a second believe Bongino would promote a honeypot, he's one of the good guys. He has too many sources in intelligence to lead people into a trap.

I already prefer Gab over Parler

It was not a honeypot. Parler has numerous vulnerabilities. CodeMonkeyZ warned them and they chose to do nothing. Also they thought the policy of appeasing Amazon would work when GAB insisted that they follow GAB’s lead.
