i dont really care much for what code monkey did or did not do. i personally would also not sign up for a social media service that requires phone number registration either.
but that does not change the fact that this post is incorrect.
the site was indexed, that is all. all that was "leaked" were public post ID's.
100% and they just making it look like a hack. As if fucken Parler would be this lax with their security and just have it fucking available. Amazon probably took away the protections once they cut off parler staff from the servers. Shouldn't Amazon be shutting down and purging the servers? I bet any money they still up and facing the net. The exact Amazon server being used by Parler was leaked also.
As if fucken Parler would be this lax with their security
While I can of course not say if this hack is true or false, security hardly ever comes down to being lax but comes down to skill and knowledge. I am sure whoever built Parler thinks it is secure but there are huge differences between skill levels of developers and if they outsourced this stuff to India, then all bets are off.
You are right to be skeptical of Amazon as well and that is something else that shows lack of knowledge on Parler's part, most IT people in the MAGA world would never suggest hosting a service like Parler on AWS.
However, this is information warfare, so they whole thing could be a pack of lies, I know some people on 4chan have spread very effective misinformation like this when the reality of the hack was much smaller for example.
Spez: I had longer to look at this now, all I can see is a list with public URLs, nothing posted as proof backs the claims made.
Still have to get warnings out to people just incase. And Parler surely would have had their shit pen tested for this kind of thing. I heard Codemonkey said he knew about this ages ago and that is why he says he will never get a parler account. Not sure if true though only heard in comments!
Unfortunately these scum bags are going to dox alot of Trump supporters. To become a verified account you have to upload photos of your ID. They are planning mass doxxing and attempting to get people fired from their jobs.
Who the fuck would upload their id to a shit posting site like parler?
I mean, who cares, I'm doxxed as a Trump supporter by my donations and the big sign still up in my yard, but you have to be stupid if you send your ID to one of these sites.
This is how Twitter and Gab work also. How else do you think they verify people for checkmarks? With proper security you would securely wipe this data right after you verified it. If Parler retained this data, that's already a major red flag imo.
Cause nothing would piss off more people than ever to lose their job for supporting a candidate. I mean urea almost at that point that people think they have nothing else to lose.
Not to be sarcastic, but if the get a large number of Trump supporters fired from their jobs it may be easier to coordinate a general strike. A general strike if done right would devastate the govt. Take a negative and turn it into a positive.
They will attempt to ruin peoples lives, get them deplatformed, fired from their jobs etc. People got put on no flight lists so quickly. We must get the word out and be prepared.
No fly lists are unconstitutional bullshit and not at all about safety but about punishment without needing a shred of proof or giving people the ability to confront their accuser.
And they have been successful at it. Our side is always on about 'crossing the rubicon' etc, meanwhile they are engaging in a totally different warfare.
Its right here, basically each text file contains 100K URLS to media content (videos/images) including user deleted content apparently. It's not gonna work now since parler is offline but im sure they had time to browse it and archive it. https://donk.sh/06d639b2-0252-4b1e-883b-f275eff7e792/
Go to https://www.reddit.com/r/ParlerWatch/ and pick some random nerd posting in that subreddit and look at the post history. 90% comedy gold post history in r/Personalfinance or r/AskMen. These are the "cyberwarriors" defending "their democracy".
We need an alternative internet, not to mention even processors have backdoors, its hard to have a real safe machine and communication, this verification obsession that these social media have also come at a cost.
Alot of that stuff is simple scare tactics to scare us into believing that the government can connect to our devices and spy on us at any time. It is nonsense. If it were true then why does the government need to ask people for their passwords when subpoenaing a device? Why don't they just connect to every computer in the world via the backdoor in the processor? If it were true it would be leaked and blackhats would use it for malicious profit. They use it to scare people the same way they used to say the NSA/CIA built back doors into the Encryption algorithm back in the day when they made the boxes in it. Turns out today with modern computing that can better analysis the algorithm, it turns out that they actually hardened the boxes and made them even more secure than previously thought. No back doors.
No it absolutely is not, all modern Intel processors are buit with a backdoor so intelligence agencies can access it freely, Vault 7 leaks are there, the Weeping Angel program could connect to TV sets, a cellphone, that is a small computer, can 100% be used to monitor, and thats easy to do with the right hardware and software.
Then show me the Hacker or security tester who has tested out the vulnerability and proven it can be done. Until that is proven then it is purely theoretical or actually fake. Just remember Intel agencies and government deliberately leak fake information sometimes. Misinformation is a very powerful tool.
The whole thing is offline but its obvious that the whole host taking it down might've created vulnerabities, whats more likely in my opinion is that the service itself was hostile towards the company so it helped leak, but thats my uninformed opinion and I might be wrong.
I read it three times and it is clearly written by someone that doesn't know what they are talking about. I think I deciphered what they are trying to say, however, the email verification step being skipped is very unlikely as is the way they claim to obtained the administrator users.
Additionally, all this stupid talk of millions of admin accounts created is nonsense and the "distributed" lie is so obviously a pile of shit from a fantasist.
I also downloaded the data that was posted in the tweet, it's just a list of public URLs.
Personal opinion. The leftist skinny arm LARPERS/Hacktivists only promoting our cause dogpiling and disseminating media in their circles that is siloed among conservative audience. Basically they downloaded all the publicly posted content on the Parler. I don't think anyone posts anything they don't mean or can stand by, so far no one has cancelled the 1st amendment so they can fuck right off.
If you are afraid for your job, well don't. Posting a video on twitter expressing an opinion or documenting an event is not a crime.
do not ever provide personal info eg license or passport or ssn on social media or ever if there is another means to address the request. some requests are not reasonable so decline.
most countries have laws about personnal info.
why? to prevent another holocaust.
US no laws and many countries dont trust us.
Why? i suspect due to the corruption of elites with the goal to enslave citizens.
btw i dont recall parler asking me for lucense. i call this fake news.
Whether or not this post is 100% true, I am still of the opinion that parler is the new twitter, and not in a good way. GAB is the free speech platform that should be supported, not the one being pushed by GOPe/republicans, who have repeatedly shown that they are in lockstep with the authoritarian deep state.
Not worried. Fuck AWS. I'm surprised that Parler used this service. Everyone has always known that Bezos is a fucking commie, owned by anyone that will have him, and a pervert to boot. The de-platforming was bound to happen.
this is not correct - the claims are hugely overhyped.
the Parler iOS application was reverse engineered, and an API endpoint was found and used get the "public ID" of all posts, videos, comments, etc.
all this does is point an individual to the public content corresponding with the ID.
it is a psyop to foster distrust of Parler.
dont take the bait.
If this is true, this needs to be stickied pronto.
Then why did codemonkey not get a parler account and refused to ever get one? Because it is compromised. Gab is where it is at.
i dont really care much for what code monkey did or did not do. i personally would also not sign up for a social media service that requires phone number registration either.
but that does not change the fact that this post is incorrect.

nice try, glowie.
anyone can verify the dumps themselves.
poopy poopy poo poo
Pippity Poppity Poo
willy willy bum bum
How much you wanna bet the AWS leaked the data before shutdowns.
100% and they just making it look like a hack. As if fucken Parler would be this lax with their security and just have it fucking available. I remember when he warned them about this vulnerability.
They were lax enough where archiveteam has claimed they didn't strip the identifiable EXIF data out of uploaded content. This would be Parler's fault.
While I can of course not say if this hack is true or false, security hardly ever comes down to being lax but comes down to skill and knowledge. I am sure whoever built Parler thinks it is secure but there are huge differences between skill levels of developers and if they outsourced this stuff to India, then all bets are off.

Fuck em. We hang together or we certainly will hang separate.

People are too trusting, it drives me crazy.
Look at all the people we and /pol/ have tracked down just from their social media posts.
What's going to happen is not one person calling your boss and saying "your worker was on parler, just FYI".
What's going to happen is your boss is going to get hundreds of calls.
Every day.
Calling you a racist.
In the end your boss will just go "Ok fuck this shit, even if it's not true it's detrimental to my business" and yeet you.
Cause nothing would piss off more people than ever to lose their job for supporting a candidate. I mean urea almost at that point that people think they have nothing else to lose.

you know, for people who hate the police they sure do seem to love the idea of a police state
They want to be the police, not to be policed. The fact law enforcement sides with them is insane.
We just want to be left the fuck alone, to support who we want, and to MAGA.
This post makes it sound like we're going to be hunted. Just remember that we are the hunters.
They will attempt to ruin peoples lives, get them deplatformed, fired from their jobs etc. People got put on no flight lists so quickly. We must get the word out and be prepared.

Twitter don't ban people posting hacked stuff??
Oh no it's only when you post Hunter stuff!
Bullshit. They may have been incompetent. But it is not a honeypot. If so they would have left the site up to continue to collect data.
I never trust any site which asks for my phone number. Used it to strictly lurk only ...no post.
Had tweeted multiple times to bongino about this
Its right here, basically each text file contains 100K URLS to media content (videos/images) including user deleted content apparently. It's not gonna work now since parler is offline but im sure they had time to browse it and archive it. https://donk.sh/06d639b2-0252-4b1e-883b-f275eff7e792/
They literally archived publicly available URL's and said "wE hAcKeD pArLeR xD". Don't believe this trash. It is all one big larp

Am I supposed to believe a "hacker" named after the main character of the movie "Hackers?" They're not even trying anymore.
We need an alternative internet, not to mention even processors have backdoors, its hard to have a real safe machine and communication, this verification obsession that these social media have also come at a cost.

Intel, AMD, Huawai, Supermicro, etc. all have "management" backdoors in their various chips and processors.
Then show me the Hacker or security tester who has tested out the vulnerability and proven it can be done. Until that is proven then it is purely theoretical or actually fake. This is the dumbest shit I've ever read, it makes no sense at all from a technical standpoint.
I read it three times and it is clearly written by someone that doesn't know what they are talking about. I think I deciphered what they are trying to say, however, the email verification step being skipped is very unlikely as is the way they claim to obtained the administrator users.

I also downloaded the data that was posted in the tweet, it's just a list of public URLs.
CodeMonkejyZ warned Parler that their site was unsecured. Parler ignored him.
I don’t buy it. If somehow it is true, come get me. I’ll be ready.
Personal opinion. The leftist skinny arm LARPERS/Hacktivists only promoting our cause dogpiling and disseminating media in their circles that is siloed among conservative audience. That is called being smart.
I have just had a quick look at the data they posted, it is not at all what they claim it is. Seems like just links to public posts.
Still I never signed up to Parlor when it asked for a phone number.
I will also say, I hope we realize how lucky we are to have T_D, no ads, no phone numbers, no emails and they only log IP address as md5 hashes.
do not ever provide personal info eg license or passport or ssn on social media or ever if there is another means to address the request. some requests are not reasonable so decline.

You're actually retarded for posting that here.
"r/the_donald will turn you into a nazi"
"4chan will give you computer aids"
"parler is dangerous you guys"
OP is low IQ
I believe the phrase for today will be "class-action lawsuit."
Let's see if Twitter upholds their no doxxing policy with these fucks. /s
I can picture mark Levin screaming into a phone at Dan Bongino.
