This reminds me of the people posting before the protest that there were bricks and propane tanks laying around, what did Patriots do... they had people come clean them off the streets so they couldn't be used.
I don’t build them, I just climb them and use them on job sites. I also have observed what you say to be true. There are always extra scaffolding pieces lying around after scaffolding is built...later they might add to it or change it up a bit so having extra parts around isn’t uncommon from my observations from the many commercial sites I’ve worked at.
those look to be the entry pegs that go in the ground to hand the walkway tassels that were removed the day of the gathering. It looks like someone saw those and the people aggregating around them so they asked the police to move them behind the police line to prevent people from taking them. That’s my 2c
These are definitely just extra scaffolding pieces...they are stored in giant bins, shipped to sites for construction, and left there. They are not unusual...this video appears to be patriots giving them to cops and taking them away from potential use. Video appears to be taken out of context.
I like the one where the police feel they have to surround and protect the guy that was breaking windows cause the Trumpers are pissed about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SDHXyaoilqc
There was no way any of them would be a threat to anyone on capitol hill.
Then they marched on the capital in a non violent protest. They largely showed restraint and reverence for the historic building and you could tell they felt honored to be there.
The politicians inside were scared shitless, because they know what they have done and what they will continue to do to this country
Only the people who were in the small crowd up front (the one they showed on MSM) were scanned. It would have been impossible to check everyone- there were far too many people.
But I will say many things appeared surreptitiously at the capital that were not concealable and were not seen to my knowledge at the ellipse. (Like a sledge hammer- that was immediately handed to cap pol).
It was leftover parts from the scaffold construct.
This twitter guy is trying to make it look nefarious. It wasn't. I'm in this video.
This was on the west end of the building. There was pushing and shoving, but not much more except from the police, who would try to push us off the stairs, beat us, shoot pepper balls at us and throw tear gas canister. At people doing NOTHING.
But we knew if troublemakers grabbed those pipes, the cops were going to get a LOT more serious and nobody wanted that.
Wherever that video is from, we need the next 5 minutes of it to show that we picked that whole bin up and pushed it back beyond the police line to keep everyone safe.
Thank you for that. There are other videos where glasses are being broken with these things lying around.
This shows the side that the crowd was not "Starting an insurrection" and the politicians who jumped to conclusions to condemn the protestors should be ashamed.
Nah, man. I'm pretty fuckin far from OK. ;)
I'm glad this video found its way to the fight against the lies, but as usual someone clipped it short so they could use it for conspiracy shit.
I'm very sad for Ashli. That was murder. I'm sad for the clowns that made it a shitshow. The breach was OK, but they should have staged a sit in, not acted the damn fool.
Oh yes. Man thanks for the answer it was cooking my brain. I saw an empty planter full of bricks as well and I assume the worst in everything the left does.
If so, those are just Virginia patriots that lobby against VA's increasingly anti-2A rhetoric. They were the primary force behind the 2A sanctuaries last year and the year before.
Why would they leave pipes and lumber lying around when they know there's going to be hundreds of thousands of "Trump crazies" coming who are unpredictable???
The "This does not need to happen" comment sounds like he was talking with a fellow protestor, not Antifa. If they were Antifa, there's be a lot more fists swinging I think.
Lmao I really don’t understand this website sometimes. You guys promote that you’re happy Americans stormed the capital and made congress scared for once, but now the main focus of this site is to show it’s actually antifa and Americans did nothing but blow kisses to the cops and politely wave away their rights?
I almost have to think this altruistic pacifism is led by the left. Lmao journalists getting beaten while police watch a legion of antifa march through the street dressed for combat, meanwhile here? “No!! No pipes!!! No fighting antifa!! We aren’t them!! Look how peaceful we are guys!! We don’t fight when being taken over!!”
Really guys? You giving up that quick and easy? Oh wait. I’m a doomer I’m sure
Trump asked for a peaceful protest and the patriots were in DC to support him. He said to go to the Capital to protest peacefully. Antifa was already there and patriots got caught up in the moment.
Many patriots attempted to stop the destruction as seen in many videos. The vast majority of the patriots showed up later (after Trumps speech and were literally let in by the police). They entered peacefully, and simply expected a protest--which is pretty much what happened.
Had they intended to "capture the Capital" they certainly had the manpower --but that was never the purpose. 98% of these were regular, law-abiding people who went to DC because Trump asked them to be there.
I am sick of people who weren't there impugning their actions as either too violent or not violent enough. We responded to the call, and one paid with her life!
Life is not as simple as everyone makes out. We all have families, jobs, and reputations, and yet we were there--not for a revolution, but a restoration.
Agree with your observation

I work from scaffold often. This ^^^

That's what it appears to be. I agree. Peaceful protesters removing potential weapons and handing them to the police.
The remains of Joe Biden's recently dismantled "inauguration" stage and bleachers.
I agree with your observation, those are clearly being passed to the police and out of access to the crowd.

To me this looks like our people found a weapons cache and are handing it over to police to get confiscated.
Looks like they are handing over weapons to the police. I wonder how those weapons ended up there.

Here's what happened at the capital:
Trump ran his supporters through metal detectors.
There was no way any of them would be a threat to anyone on capitol hill.
Then they marched on the capital in a non violent protest. They largely showed restraint and reverence for the historic building and you could tell they felt honored to be there.

The video doesn't go far enough. Right after it ends, the whole BIN was lifted, carried up the stairs, and pushed back beyond the line of police.
I'm in this video.
Thank you for that. There are other videos where glasses are being broken with these things lying around.
This shows the side that the crowd was not "Starting an insurrection" and the politicians who jumped to conclusions to condemn the protestors should be ashamed.
Hope you're doing well.

Jesus, brother. I'm proud of you guys for standing up peacefully.
People like y'all give me hope that there is always going to be something to stand up for in America.
I just want to know why there was 4 pallets of folding chairs about 4 feet tall on the lawn. Were they expecting guests?
Inauguration scaffold + chairs, planning for a xiden presidency

Food for thought, hilarious at the same time
Do you see men with orange beanies? There was a group of men with orange beanies. Anyone know their role?
Can't say for sure, but the VCDL's (Virginia Civilian Defense League) color is bright orange.

proud boys
Here's what I see.
Either those pipes are part of them building the inauguration platform or
That shit was staged sitting there to be used as weapons, people saw the possibility and got rid of it.
There are plenty of videos of 2 by 6s lying around for no apparent reason.
All a set up.
Why would they leave pipes and lumber lying around when they know there's going to be hundreds of thousands of "Trump crazies" coming who are unpredictable???
I think we know the answer.
Im sorry am I misinterpreting this? Where are they? Looks like people passing weapons to cops.
Can't this be loaded to a different platform? Are those pieces of the scaffolding that was being built? It was clearly there beforehand.
"This does not need to happen" guy and MAGA supporters handing off weapons to the police to avoid the violence the instigators were trying to cause.
Spread this far and wide.
CNN: Trump supporter in a MAGA hat makes pipe bombs at the capitol
The "This does not need to happen" comment sounds like he was talking with a fellow protestor, not Antifa. If they were Antifa, there's be a lot more fists swinging I think.
Willing to bet that the FBI is among this group.
Fuck. this is as bad as feared...

I know it's hard to think sometimes.

FUCK ALL YOU KEYBOARD WARRIORS WHO WEREN'T THERE!
100% right! Thanks for that comment.
Thanks. I'm so sick of all the shit being posted.
