It’s never really been about Trump. Sure they hated him as an individual. But what they really hated was the threat he posed to the Ruling Class’s power & privilege, as a representative of you

He was the lightning rod for standing up for us. From day 1, both parties hated him because he was actually for the people and elected by the people, was pro-US in job policy, trade policy, foreign policy, immigration policy, and domestic policy. Obviously that needed to be portrayed as 'Nazi', 'fascist', 'white nationalist' and whatever other derogatory & inflammatory ways they could come up with (along with slandering and dehumanizing anyone not supportive of their agenda), while the corrupt politicians sucking on the teat of grift, corruption, and foreign influence worked to disempower the citizens who want a free country and policies that work for them.

The only actual coup attempt on the 6th wasn't by Trump supporters - and it wasn't an attempt, it was successful - to put Biden and the Deep State fully back in power. I'd be thrilled to discover that I'm wrong, because the alternative of being right is a far more disturbing. So far, the actions of the Dems point to 'their coup worked'.
