I agree and this is sad news. But something to know about the golf landscape before boycotting golf all together. The PGA of America (the organization moving the tournament) is separate from the PGA Tour. The PGA of America puts on the PGA Championship (one of the four majors) every year and the Ryder Cup every two years. The PGA Tour conducts all the weekly tournaments aside from the other 3 majors - The Masters (Augusta National Golf Club), U.S. Open (USGA) & The Open (R&A). Just don’t want people to write off golf completely, just this one organization within the industry. Hope they do the right thing and keep the tournament there or else they will face significant backlash.
Just to add to OP PGAOA is the group that handles the certification and promotion of golf at the local level it’s a much larger organization then the PGA tour

Yep. The moment they try and pressure others to fall in line is where it will really start hurting. As a golfer this still hurts though.
