My dad talked to a former Japanese general during the days of Imperial Japan (I honestly have no idea how) and he said that they’ll take their revenge as soon as they gain the upper hand. Granted, this isn’t your average Japanese citizen here, but the sentiment is still there.
Yeah, their hand is forced. We created China when we blew up japan cuz it created a power vacuum that they sought to fill. Not only that, but you had diplomats like Nixon and Kissinger opening up to China which started the selling out of the US. Kissinger is especially notorious for this, he is the sole cause of US officially ignoring the CCP and selling us out. But anyway, I digress. Japan’s military is still extremely powerful despite only being a defense force so I think they’re safe for now.
