I watched a very good slo mo breakdown of the shooting and everything said here is correct. She didn’t fly backwards, she landed on a padded backpack, feet flat and legs arched. Like a stunt person would. I’ve spent a lot of time on gore sites, I’m no expert, not claiming to be. But, a gunshot at close range like that doesn’t look like that at all. No splatter, was too clean in general, done by a trained secret service member? In that enclosed space with that many fellow officers nearby? That bullet should have went through and through. Especially with the neck. She was also crumpled up in the window. Neck facing down and covered by her chin and guarded by her chest. Not saying it’s impossible, but would be a hellofa lucky shot to only hit her neck. And the gunman does swing his arm at the last second down the hallway directly in front of him. I’d love some experts really analyze that video with the angles taken into account and the heights and such. Maybe a recreation.

A shooting taking place would require all hands on deck for cops, at least the appearance of and would allow time and opportunity for the laptops to be stolen. That could be the “why”.
