We have to admit that those of us on the Right were misled by our GOP Establishment masters. For years they told us that free trade, open borders, offshoring, downsizing, Wall Street, Big Corporations, deregulation, and normalization of relations with Communist China was a win for America and all Americans. We're now seeing how the Romneyfication of the party has worked out.

The Wachowskis, who wrote and directed The Matrix, and adapted V to film (against the wishes of Alan Moore), did make their movies from a standard Leftie position.
Moore is unsurprised by Leftist authoritarianism/totalitarianism. The Wachowskis either support it, or are making surprised Pikachu faces.
If you liked the movie V, I think you will enjoy Moore's original comic book more.
