Well I used to trade long ago when things were in 1/8ths and 1/16th via dial up connections. i guess now with smart phones and apps its pretty easy to keep an eye on things.
Most important lessons I ever learned was cutting your lose and realize someone out there knows more about what is going on than you, you are going to be wrong from time to time, don't take it personal, constantly doubt your assumptions.
I've been at this game for years since I left tech. I'm no one's fool. Got burned good once when I was young and stupid twenty years ago.
Nothing is a better teacher than getting burned.....it's a lesson you don't easily forget.

I learned to not emotionalize investments. You have to be ruthlessly pragmatic.
