Military is the only branch of government that could enforce the constitution at this point, don't expect any court to do anything

Technically, these people are no longer members of Congress because they committed treason. They no longer even have protection under the laws of the United States. However, good luck enforcing that without the military doing it.

Are you referencing the “constitution of the United States” or the “constitution for the United States”?

If I biffed the appropriate capitalization please let me know.

Amendment 14, section 3 (disqualification clause)

No Person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

Lol we won't even have 2/3rds of Congress left for them to undo it.

Pathwalker 9 points ago +9 / -0

Correct. This is cover for a purge. It would seek to effectively remove from office anyone who opposed Beijing Biden's electoral counts. This would be especially devastating in those contested swing states with Republican legislators and Demoncrat Governors.

But what if 2/3 are themselves in on the game?

Pathwalker 1 point ago +1 / -0

Then by a simple single vote they have a "get out of jail free" card... but then that means we are truly and royally screwed.

Section 3 No Person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

Congress itself can't obtain a 2/3 majority to override as more than 2/3rds have them themselves have attempted to overthrow the Constitution. Their votes are a non-event. However by spring the trap close to Jan 20th - they don't even have to time to figure that out.

I suppose someone could disagree. But an Art III court doesn't seem competent to decide this matter as it involves the United States' compact known as the US Constitution, which the Supreme Court just recently decided it didn't have standing to adjudicate.

I got to say - this looks like THE TRUMP CARD. MAGA has the legal basis and if the military is on our side, we have the muscle.

Mike Pence left the chat

And let's not forget that by being VP Pence must have his signature or name in the evidence of fraud.

You forget the last part: "unless Congress by a two-thirds vote specifically permitted it"

The crime has been committed so its treason now they no power.

3
Wanderlust 3 points ago +3 / -0

There isn't a 2/3rds of Congress left after their treason to save themselves.

And can you imagine if they did. 2/3 of Congress voting the other 1/3 okay to stay in Congress despite treason. That'd be pitchfork time.

Like democrats have to abide by the law. Doj is comprised. They use their evidence to black mail. How much is bill Barr worth anywho? And Chris Wray? COMEY? Brennan? How many books have they “written “ ?

The video of Antifa being led in and directed where to go says everything. As well as Antifa being bused in; they were paid by Pelosi and McConnell to BE THERE. This alone is a treasonous crime, amongst many other crimes they should be held accountable for. The fact they are putting this on Trump, is typical and unconscionable; with the help of MSM and Big Tech to suppress the truth every time. It’s really diabolical.
