The military seems to be aligned with the Dems and that's what I would expect in your scenario.

Perhaps you made a typo? Both of your statements suggest that the military supports Biden, which I find extremely unlikely.
No, I do disagree with you and think in a total collapse they would follow democratic lead, because they have more power, backing and influence. The scenario you would see is Pence or Nancy as acting president claiming Trump is not president using some faux legal bullshit. Congress and scotus if needed would fall in line and the military would go along with it.

I confused the poster above in the same way. I meant to separate the two points with the "In reality though..." to not connect the mail in voting with my predictions on the military. I edited it to just make it clearer and not upset people.
