They are enforced because of the steep fines, the government only implemented the rules because of the fine amounts are in the millions, otherwise they would cheer on the companies if they couldn't suck the $$$ out of them. It's all about the money!

How do you know those laws will be enforced? I suspect Dems will just pass laws that further cement their control over these platforms.
