He's talking about if they move to impeach for what he said in his speech (inciting violence), he will get to defend his claims

Impeachment. I think it's bullshit and a huge stretch, but that's what they're saying

My understanding is that the actual impeachment trial wouldn't happen immediately - they are talking about doing it later (like 100 days into the Biden admin). At that point, any evidence would totally be moot. And, IMHO, the actual trial won't happen if it comes to that. Why would they even bother? This is mostly for optics for their rabid base.

They will continue it, trust me. Why? Because it will distract people from the commies taking over our entire country, it will allow them to engrain fake news about trump into normies heads, and it will allow them to ultimately try to ruin Trump's entire historical Presidency, so they can write it into the history books our kids and grandkids are taught in schools, the same ones they control. They can also use it to continue to bankrupt the entire Trump business empire and family. And to use as fake motivation for false flags that will come that will be used to take away 2A. We are up against evil. We can't do anything about it, except to keep as many people informed to the Tyranny as possible so they know what's happening... For what purpose? I have no clue, but to more informed people are, the more people around us that we can trust

they can't do an "ex post facto" impeachment. It has to be started and conclude before he leaves office or they can't even legally do a symbolic one just to tarnish his Presidency. You can't impeach someone who isn't in office.

I agree it would do nothing. I think it's bullshit. I'm just telling him what they're talking about

Exactly! It's a dog and pony show.

Correct. Nancy will have opened the door to defend and present evidence regarding 1. "inciting" violence and 2. by "falsely asserting that there was fraud in the election"

It's brilliant. Get to show those receipts in Congress as part of the defense.

When EVER has Congress judged Trump on the facts? Or anyone they didn't like for that matter? Remember Kavanaugh?

A few states are still on - I'm blanking on which, but I think maybe GA and AZ. This is to get things straightened out for future elections. I want to know what happens when legislatures realize THIS election was fraudulent.

Supreme Court declined motion for expedited appeal. Won’t take the case until later, at which point it will be moot if Biden sworn in. Just a different no standing ploy.

We really got hoodwinked by the McConnell/Federalist judges. All of the conservative think tanks are suspect in my opinion.

This is a good question. And I thought Rudy said that Arizona and Georgia legislatures were still trying to get their forensic audit approved/started.
