Today the Democrats are putting forward in the House of Representatives a claim that insurrection was incited, with their evidence being that "a mob unlawfully breached the Capitol, injured law enforcement personnel, menaced members of Congress and the vice president, interfered with the joint session’s solemn constitutional duty to certify the election results, and engaged in violent, deadly, destructive and seditious acts".
Surely that means that they want the US Government to respond to quell this insurrection, and the lawful means for this are set out in 10 U.S.C. §§ 331-335.
I'm really not sure whether they haven't thought this through, or if they actually want that to happen.
They are presuming they can get away with the Big Lie that they themselves did not arrange for allowing people in and getting their preferred video clips.
