He’s not going to use the insurrection act. Top military brass hate the man and will not obey. They will claim a (false) unconstitutional order and do nothing. House snd senate would vote to impeach AND remove him in a matter of hours (oh yes, they could move that quickly if they wanted to).

Top brass don't lead soldiers, they sit at desks. All you do is broadcast that they need to be detained and promote a few colonels, especially if they've kept tabs on who is loyal and not.

Top brass are the first ones fragged in a coup historically. Colonels and lower are usually the hero’s/traitors. Higher level officers generally end up dead.
It doesn't matter, Trump is the Commander and Chief of the US Military, and if they go against a direct order of a superior then they get fired for insubordination, and Trump gives the command to the next in line.

yep. all he has to do is have his spec ops arrest the insubordinate generals. who is going to stop them? if the generals know this is coming, they'll have their own spec ops and things may get hot inside the government. that may be why we see troops moving.
