I think if they just sacked up and opened up after 2 weeks or a month or whatever and let this thing run its course throughout the summer, we'd be done and over this bullshit by now. Probably having a similar number of fatalities and way the fuck less economic ruin. I honestly believe the Dems ran this thing out deliberately to try and make Trump look bad.
