Good luck with that. Nearly impossible to yank a lawyer.

Creepy Porn Lawyer still has his law license in CA.

This right here. OP still doesn't get it. There are two classes of citizens and no equal protection for true patriots.

The mistake is setting up base in a communist fascist statee

if Trump hadn't been a resident of New York when running for president the fascist New York attorney general couldn't have launched 18 investigations in 6 months..

If Rudy Giuliani had not been a registered lawyer in New York the communist New York bar association couldn't try to remove him the problem that the GOP make that a lot of Democrats don't make is that they set up their base of operations in Democrat States and Democrat communist counties where they then have legal authority over th

There is no joy on my part. Over the past 5 years we have witnessed that the FBI will not investigate democrats, the DOJ will not prosecute democrats, and the courts will not hear our grievances.

The victimization escalates, that doesn't mean that it wasn't victimization previously, it simply means it's going to get worse.

We have been targeted since Bill Clinton, at the latest, Bush exacerbated it, then Obama turned it into a war.

The only joy I will get is from watching the useful idiots who advocated for this totalitarian shit get hoisted by their own petard. These dumb fucks still don't even realize that they have no political voice at this point either. In the very near future they are going to be directly and negatively impacted by the policies they supported, and I will laugh my ass off when they start talking about voting to change it.

I also plan on giving them a yuge dose of their own medicine at every opportunity just to watch them choke on it.

Exactly. Sidney Powell tried and failed to get Weissmann disbarred years ago for all the illegal shit he pulled while running the Enron Task Force.

Hopefully his reward is Bubba for a cellmate.

For what it’s worth Bill Clinton lost his after perjury.

I don’t think anyone is accusing Rudy of that though.

33
TEXinLA 33 points ago +33 / -0

So did Hillary.

But to my knowledge, Rudy has not testified under oath.

And lawyers lie. Lots. Anyone who has been deposed should understand that opposing council can and will lie.

24
TrueConservative55 24 points ago +24 / -0

As long as he didn't lie under oath, he should be fine. That's an important line in the legal world.

11
TEXinLA 11 points ago +11 / -0

This is true.

And FYI - recall that lawyers are advocates for their client. Many folks who serve on juries are under the mistaken opinion that lawyers are obligated to tell the truth. Unless under oath, this is not true.

BewareOfThePug 9 points ago +9 / -0

They kept trying to get him to "take an oath" during the various state proceedings.

4
TEXinLA 4 points ago +4 / -0

Yup. Not sure when or how often he did. Virtually all of his evidence was from 3rd party experts that would be deemed reliable (in most cases).

IDK. I think I recall that Hillary was confronted over false statements made under oath. In 2002, she suspended her law license and then 17 years later, paid fees and reinstated it.

I looked up when Hillary's last appearance of record - May 1992, in a civil case before the Arkansas Court of Appeals.

Yep. Lawyers can and will lie to your face. In court, they just have to phrase what they say very carefully. Outside of court? Game on.

I once went through that. I asked my lawyer if I could report them to the bar, and he said "Sure, but don't expect much from it." He said the only thing the bar really listens to is when a judge censures a lawyer for behavior in their court, and fines them, that gets reported to the bar automatically. I dimly recall one of the lawyers in the Simpson circus was being threatened by Ito with that kind of thing, I think Darden, and the media was all a buzz with how serious that could be for him.

Its a lawyers job to lie.

1
TEXinLA 1 point ago +1 / -0

Absolutely. And even in court, many shade their statements if it's a jury trial.

ContraryMerry 6 points ago +6 / -0

Hillary Clinton hasn't been a practicing attorney in decades. Obama and Whatsherface also let their licenses lapse. It's not unusual for attorneys to let the lapse once they hit the motherload of all profitability (aka US Congress).

3
President_Elect_Pepe 3 points ago +3 / -0

Bill Clinton had his literally revoked.

2
ContraryMerry 2 points ago +2 / -0

He should have, but he didn't care. He knew the money was after his presidency, not before.

2
FireannDireach 2 points ago +2 / -0

Suspended for 5 years.

1
FireannDireach 1 point ago +1 / -0

EDIT: Both Clinton's both have their licenses in good standing. Bill's was suspended for 5 years as part of the impeachment ( swear I've read over the years he turned it in voluntarily as part of a deal to avoid Senate conviction), and Hillary's was renewed last year, hers lapsed because she didn't keep up with continued learning requirements.

Neither actually use them, though - haven't for decades. They left that behind in Arkansas.

It’s not about the process or the rules, it’s about whose team you are on. Remember, rules for thee, not for me.

Strange thing about the rules. Just because they exist, they don’t have to be applied, but they can be, and the fact that a group or person is singled out for breaking a rule that no one else ever was, is of no moment. The rule exists and you broke it and therefore it is proper to hold you accountable, independently of anything else ... twisted really.

I pray that NY’s swamp will be drained too.

3
ContraryMerry 3 points ago +3 / -0

What happens when you are on neither team? They both come for you. This is not a good look for our government.

2
Qcumber 2 points ago +2 / -0

In my experience, if no team, generally they let you slide, to “appear” neutral. Thus they train people to stay silent and keep their opinions to themselves, and it works, ergo people appear to be on neither side. It takes energy to harm, and bad guys work to satisfy themselves. They go after ones they don’t like.

Good guys, don’t go after anyone except when appropriate, wrong doers. Thus, distinguishing them as “good guys” IMHO.

ContraryMerry 2 points ago +2 / -0

I was commenting on the lack of enthusiasm the Republicans showed Trump. Neither of our ruling parties worked with our elected president.

This is all Kabuki theater to appease the left-wing mob. Only 3-4 protestors have been charged with felony weapons possessions. The rest with misdemeanor trespassing. There is a lot of bullshit rhetoric going on, but a lot of it is getting nowhere.

That's a good thing, and somewhat of a relief.
