I only point it out because I was unaware. We had a guy who is a vendor on Amazon pointing it out the other day.
I sympathize with the small guys on that platform. They are partners with a dark company, it's true, but I think it's that or fold for a lot of small businesses, and I'd rather see them survive.
I agree with that statement. Although, ask anyone who plays the FBA (Fulfilled by Amazon) game and they will tell you it’s a damn hustle regardless. Everything from, begging for reviews, beating competition, dealing with fake negative reviews from competition, being cheaper, better quality, huge Amazon cut, and much more. I watched a short documentary regarding FBA and boy did they have to jump through hoops just to stay afloat. Plus if your product is successful, guess who I’ll bring is in house... Shipped and sold by, you guessed it, Amazon.
While I respect the small business hustle, I believe that, when forced to, they have the grit to transitions their product/business elsewhere. Not trying to not help the small business, but they’re also being played at Amazon and they can do better on other platforms
Make sure it's "fulfilled and sold" by Amazon if you plan to return.
