Then why not openly admit to it during the debate? Why not have the media push for it and tell everyone it would be a good idea?

Because then we'd resist her, and the way it went down we instead pushed like crazy to get behind her and support her. Telling us would have defeated the purpose, while not telling us got Trump to appoint an enemy agent. Can I take the hat off now, it's screwed on too tight. I'm not used to playing devil's advocate over here.
