They did not want to be associated with those racists/alt-right people on Gab, they thought they were "the good ones", the ones that nobody would kick out, you know, because everybody wants civilized discourse!
Fuck you Parler, you could have been useful in JOINING forces with Gab, instead of competing and undermining, disavowing them.
Also, Parler thought they were "safe" from cancellation, so they don't even have a backup plan in case of a disaster like that.
