We're seeing this behavior with social media right now: if Twitter bans you, run to Parler, they destroy Parler, run to Gab (until Gab gets destroyed), etc. The Left has relied on this defensive response for decades, that conservatives would simply cuck out when things got real and some pressure was applied, and this gives them the confidence they need to continue taking ground. Meanwhile, all the ground they have taken remains firmly secure in their grasp.
But on January 6th, conservatives took ground in a big way, knocking the Left off their comfortable offensive position. And the Left is now doing everything it can to put the Right back on the defensive.
Taking to the streets used to be exclusively a domain of the Left. They cherished the power this brings. But now that the Right has used this tool, the Left is terrified that it will take power away from them, because IT DOES.
This is why the rhetoric of "insurrection" and "terrorism" is so intense. This is why they are focusing on the small handful of violent incidents that broke out on Jan 6 out of hundreds of thousands of people. When it got riotous for 20 or so minutes, with a level of intensity that is similar to the aftermath of an English soccer game, the movement that was previously dismissed as "Russian Bots" suddenly got VERY REAL and VERY TANGIBLE for them.
If an unarmed mob of conservatives can simply walk into the top Federal facility in the USA and piss all over the sacred "temple" of government, and conservatives are also known to be armed to the eyeballs, the Left can only imagine what conservatives are potentially capable of doing if we stop playing the defensive and get off our asses. It's their worst nightmare.
Their current freakout is a desperate attempt to quell the movement that is now a serious threat to their grab of total power. They are accelerating their grab of total power RIGHT NOW because the threat to them is imminent. We need to make sure that we are NOT intimidated by this, that we do not back down, no matter what level of rhetoric they use to demonize us.
Look at what happened when Kyle Rittenhouse defended himself against the savages in Kenosha. If you're confused about why they hate him so much, it's for a purely tactical reason. An overweight 17 year old with some firearms training took out 3 hardened criminals who were Antifa thugs, all while fleeing a murderous mob trying to kill him. The message that sends to conservatives is overwhelming; you are better, stronger, and more capable than they are. You can single-handedly hold the line against a left-wing mob. This is why they are now trying to crucify Kyle in order to terrorize YOU.
They are trying to suppress the movement, now that it's finally got teeth. What terrifies them more than anything, is that conservatives could actually go on the offensive, could actually start to take over spaces and reverse the course of the Left's calculated takeover of our society. Not to be all ITG; but people like me didn't go on the 6th; it was clear this was a family event with sightseeing and all that jazz.
When people like me are done; and there are far more than you could ever imagine because unlike a big part of them, I actually use the Internet; unlike an even larger part of them I use some form of social media; unlike an even LARGER portion of them I comment.
So if there are a large contingent of people like me who are reaching their breaking point for tyranny watch out; because we don't just march and yell. Personally, I watched multiple live streams, I saw people doing a self guided tour of the capital and even staying in-between the velvet ropes, I did also see an unjustified shooting of an unarmed female Trump supporter. I am proud of the people that took a stand, I said that at the time and I will continue to say it.
Everything the left is doing now along with their media and big tech companies is a knee jerk reaction and an attempt to put the lid back on the right, they know we are the majority and they know we understand the country is on the line. Actions like blatantly stealing an election are going to have blowback, all I wish is we would change our tactics, we are treated very much worse than BLM.
