I always thought the system was rigged, my only question was to what extent. Trump only proved that the election apparatus wasn't rigged outright, or at least not rigged well enough, up to the point of the 2016 election.
However, I would still consider it to have been rigged in other ways prior. Perhaps it was as simple as the two parties secretly working together, being bought and payed for by the same people, etc., without the actual election being rigged.
Then you had the extreme influence the media had, prior to the proliferation of the internet, when people were still totally dependent on one-way broadcast and print media. With the media's overwhelming influence basically choosing the president for us.
Ron Paul, just as an example, was way more popular than what the media portrayed or what people were aloud to see. They simply ignored him and tried to treat him like he didn't exist, and it worked for the most part.
They simply couldn't ignore Trump. Further more, they made a tremendous mistake by giving him so much attention. They thought he was a total embarrassment, they thought he was un-electable, they thought they were handing a free unopposed election through their actions. They were WRONG.
Thus, the final nail in the coffin, the outright rigging of the election.
This doesn’t make sense. I dunno wtf is going on
He’s swamp. The whole government is swamp. Probably has been longer than our parents have been alive.
If that were true Trump would never have gotten elected.
