(Young female here) I went on a date with a doctor, and right away I asked what he thought about masks. He said “we need to wear them” ... as he sat close to me with no mask. Then after some drinks we got into political stuff and he told me he voted for Biden. Well...... moral of the story is...... there’s plenty more fish in the sea 😂

I dropped out of medical school 3rd year as I wasn’t passionate at all about medicine and thought it would be torture continuing my career. Most people in medicine are liberals from my experience. Also, masks are pretty useless. They do help, but it’s greatly exaggerated. My issue with them is two things. First, the masks people wear don’t block the virus. The virus can pass freely. Only n95 and above masks actually stop the virus. However, even if everyone used n95 masks it still wouldn’t make that much of a difference. Why? Well 95%+ of people don’t know how to properly put on a mask. Even a lot of doctors, nurses, and medical personnel who have training don’t put them on properly. You have to be fitted as well for an n95 mask. So basically right now people are wearing ineffective masks which are not put on properly to begin with. So how does this help? I will say that in certain instances a mask CAN protect you as much as people on here want to believe it can’t. The masks we wear now act as a suppressor for the distance your breath travels. So basically you’re more protected with a mask when compared to without one regarding distance for a brief period of time. If you go shopping and are in the same building with someone that has covid for an extended period of time, mask or no mask you will be exposed rendering them moot.
