Yeah, I just deleted Twitter. Man, facefuck is a different story as all my old high school friends and my family are there... DAMN! I know it has to be done, still hesitating - but I will do it.
I had the same hesitation, but realize I barely use it and really don’t care what some HS and other life acquaintances are doing with their lives. Plus screens are a distraction from more meaningful pursuits in the physical world. My true friends and family know where to find me, and I know where to find them, so no need to publicize my life and let the CIA and every technocrat fuck treat me as a subject.
My account had been deactivated for 2 years. I just never got around to pulling my pictures, etc. off. I now downloaded all my data off of it and deleted it for good!!!
I also deleted mine! It's hard, but it's the only way to send a message to these people. I know that I am going to be missing out on information that I may need, but there is NO CHOICE!
I like how it says "Scheduled for permanent deletion", but then only implies that in 30 days it will be 'permanently deleted.' More like "In 30 days, we won't give it back to you, but we'll keep it all until that unspecified date we never mentioned."

I did it just after the 2016 election. I only stayed on that long to meme for Trump and help get the word out about just how bad Hillary was!

You can delete your account, but your profile is still actively mining data on you whereabouts to sell to third parties.
