Some of us know they'll have to waste a massive number of armed federal resources (read: troops) to get them.

Here's the deal: Even without the sanctuary county thing, a confiscation will only work for the feint of heart. The logistics of searching 128 million separate households is far beyond even the reach of the federal government.

(...and that's assuming no one talks about boating accidents, craigslist sales, etc etc etc.)

PS: half of my collection arrived in my possession as birthday and Christmas presents. Good luck guessing what they are and where they came from.

No they don't, that's not how the "registries" work. They know of zero guns I've bought form my buddy's gun shop unless he hands the forms over.

Now they'll know who has guns and who will march with them to take out potential leaders

Think about how you would do it to us if you were them. Plan accordingly.

That's not how the registries are supposed to work anyway. I also have complete faith our government doesn't collect any information it's not supposed to...

The 4473s are hard copy. They're the only information about exactly who bought what. This is not digital. It is stored for 25 years then destroyed. Without collecting and digitizing the forms they are not query-able in a database manipulation program.

Posting your shit on social media is a different story but I DEFINTELY have guns I acquired legally the government knows nothing about. get on Arms list and set up some trades, bud.

They may not have the serial number, but they still know who was checked and where they live. They'll be happy to scoop up any armslist trades you have lying around too if they come knocking. And of course if the FFL dealer ever closes they have to send the hard copies to BATF. I'm sure they destroy them in a timely manner...
