That's not how the registries are supposed to work anyway. I also have complete faith our government doesn't collect any information it's not supposed to...

The 4473s are hard copy. They're the only information about exactly who bought what. This is not digital. It is stored for 25 years then destroyed. Without collecting and digitizing the forms they are not query-able in a database manipulation program.

Posting your shit on social media is a different story but I DEFINTELY have guns I acquired legally the government knows nothing about. get on Arms list and set up some trades, bud.

They may not have the serial number, but they still know who was checked and where they live. They'll be happy to scoop up any armslist trades you have lying around too if they come knocking. And of course if the FFL dealer ever closes they have to send the hard copies to BATF. I'm sure they destroy them in a timely manner...

So they know I bought a gun. They dont know what it is is my point. Could be a semi auto M2, could be a single shot .22

Like I said.... trades, my dude. They dont know where the fuck those are at all to even start looking. Stop dooming. Pay cash for an 80% kit. There are ways, my guy.... there are ways. It's not on me to show you.

I don't need to be shown the ways. The BATF knows where to find me, and you, and while they might not find all they expect or expect all they find, they won't be out to seize guns. They'll be out to disarm the gun owners of anything. They'll probably even take your plumbing supplies or canning kettle if they look too dangerous. And then maybe we still have a homemade rifle squirreled away somewhere. That'll be just enough left to brand us terrorists if we ever got caught with it afterwards.
