I like the Caesar sentiment, because although JULIUS Caesar did indeed lose, and lose bad... all he lost was his LIFE. His sickly nephew Octavian became his Avenging Angel, executed the murderers, and ushered in a new age of prosperity for Rome.
And before anyone gets all "But Caesar never had the right to do what he did!" no, but at the same time, the Senate violated HIS rights as a general first, and tried to destroy him. And then the Deep State of the day acted illegally under the law of the new Roman Empire and got what they deserved.
And honestly, Roman brutality started against people who deserved it. Only generations later did they turn to shit.
Did Caesar give up after being stabbed by the senate? Sometimes you just lose. But I have no doubt he is doing all he can.
Can't share in that sentiment Trump will not lose.
