I work in a hospital, here is my take.

Small one, but we are double upping in rooms with some very very sick people. The place is full, and we are holding in the ER for days with some of them. Transferring people to other STATES for things that aren't covid related because other hospitals are just like ours in the immediate area.

It's a bad flu, but it's real. Part of the influx IS the hysteria, part of it is real.
