I agree. Realism is better than false hope. Do you think that we should organize around someone/s who could form a new political group? There are the numbers to make it viable. That’s where my thoughts have been of late.
Would that really be viable though? It takes a hell of a lot to be a nation, and all it would take would be a few countries refusing to trade with us and we’re sunk. Maybe if we took over some islands at least we wouldn’t be dependent on two countries literally at our boarders. People would have to have passports and Visas to go anywhere.
