I was Navy but I live near a large Air Force Base. 1700 just rolled over and they played the national anthem. It's a couple miles away but I can hear it clearly sitting here on my couch, just home from work and already depressed after a very long day. As the anthem was playing, my eyes teared up for the first in a long time -- I fear the nation that anthem represented may no longer exist very soon. I believe it's called Retreat.
