We're in a brave new world. We're in a hall of mirrors and there's going to be an ever ascending sheppard's tone of fear mongering and doomsdaying trying to drive you mad. Fear gets the most clicks... so the algorithms will refine themselves to sell more fear in a toxic feedback loop, which is frankly bad for ones health to keep engaging with. The only real course of action is to tune out and put your nose to the grindstone. Increase your individual power. Which has the added benefit of decreasing their power. They feed off engagement. Starve the beast.
