I got sick yesterday because I was stressed and my immune system took a nose dive. I had a fever and it broke last night, this morning when I was feeding our flock of chickens I mentioned to my friend's cousin I had the flu in passing and my friend's mom (who I pay rent to) flipped out and wants us to get tested by Wednesday or we're getting kicked out. I said no and she's calling us selfish.
I hate the left so much.
Rest, eat right, take lots of vitamin d, zinc and eat foods high in vit C
Yes
Tell her theres 99.97% she wont
Those rapid COVID test are garbage, if you have ANYTHING it'll probably trigger.
There was an article that even Biden said "his administration" will need to work on making them more reliable and decrease the amount of false positives.
So your mom is willing to toss you out over being sick instead of caring for you? Tell her she might as well advocate tossing you and anyone else with the flu/covid into an interment camp like the Japanese were during WW2 for public safety. Maybe that will wake her up, or get her even more pissed...who knows...
It would just piss her off more I imagine
save those chickens, she'll probably sacrifice them to moloch like the crooked one
Is she hot? Straighten out her attitude with a brisk thrunging
No
Make her evict
Its informal. Our actual landlord is someone else, she is just who I pay our share to so we have a place to stay.
This is literally not true in any state. They are roommates. Still if OP is sick he should try to limit contact with housemates. If the other woman really has bad health concerns she should go somewhere else for a while. You can’t kick someone out for being sick. That’s part of living together.
Again untrue. You would need a restraining order in that situation.
Find one example of that happening anywhere. If you’re established in a domicile you cannot just be thrown out at the whim of the lease holder or even the homeowner. That’s literally not true in any state.
I caught the Shanghai Shivers right after New Years. Positive on a rapid test, positive on the PCR test. It was literally a mild cold that lasted 3 days. I didn't even take a single medication to relieve any symptoms. The wife was a little worse off but it only lasted 24 - 30 hours.
Out of a courtesy, I let my mom know because I'll go over and fix things, move things or whatever and didn't want her to wait. on me if she needed something immediately. She couldn't believe that my kid wasn't gonna get tested and was really worried. I said "why? she's not showing symptoms and she's an adult. I can't make her do anything. She's gonna hang her until 10 days are up or she gets sick" My mom kinda acted liked we are going to be contagious forever and got what we deserved for not taking it seriously and being selfish. Take what seriously - the 99.8% survival rate?
People, especially the older folks are brainwashed. They're too in touch with their mortality and it's feeding their subconcious fears of dying. Hang in there.
I don't but she does. Why should I add to their bullshit numbers?
Regardless, I'm not footing the bill over something I'm being forced to do. I'm young and healthy, this is the first time I've gotten sick in over two years.
Understood. Thank you.
Those test are Wrong 99% of the time
Legally she would have to evict you to get you out. Tenents have rights call the cops if she tries to lock you out
I would bang the living daylights out of friend's mom after I tested negative, but I am sort of twisted like that
I'm not male lmao
Yes?
here in Florida, the threat of getting kicked out is not so great cause it is not snowing outside
What good would getting tested do? If you get tested, and it says you're Covid Positive, will she kick you out? Leave you to die? If the answer is NO, then WHAT GOOD WOULD GETTING TESTED DO???
I got the flu a month or so ago, and refused to get tested. Know what I did?
I STAYED THE FUCK HOME, AWAY FROM MY FAMILY. Work gave me 2 week paid leave because when I went in they discovered my fever (suckers) and for those two weeks I stayed in, kept away from those I live with, and when I needed groceries had someone go shopping with my debit card which I'd blasted with some disinfectant, just to be safe.
Did I have the Flu for sure and not COVID? Who the fuck knows? But I definitely had something that sucked, so even if it was just a shitty cold, why spread it if I don't have to? If someone's dumb enough to pay me to not work because they're afraid of a disease, well, I'll take that. I didn't ask for it, I tried to work, but when they showed me that I was sick sick and not just miserable and tired and weak for regular overexertion reasons, well, that's that, then.
You seem to be in the same boat as me, man. Stay away from people, don't push yourself, and ask your friend's mom "Are you going to kick me out if I DO have COVID? If not, then why require me to get a test? I'll stay quarantined for the 14 days, because the test doesn't actually DO anything."
They gave me the option to stay quarantined for two weeks but took it back and said I had to get tested. Yeah, sounds like I'm in the same boat but I doubt me saying it will change anything. I'm still going to work though. Considering my temperature is 98.4 now, there's little chance it'll spike later.
Hm, your call, but as someone who got really shitty knock-me-out-for-two-weeks every single winter before the Magical China Virus, please don't spread the Regular Flu if you can avoid it.
People at work were SHOCKED to see me wearing a mask off the clock that day. I told them, "Listen, 99% of what they say about COVID is bullshit, but right now, I AM sick, and I'm going home as soon as they take my temperature, and I'm not going to cough or sneeze no matter what until I'm outside and away again. But whatever I have, even if it's just a cold, why the hell would I want to give it to anyone else? Still, these things don't stop viruses, so go breathe somewhere else."
Take Airborne & ZiaCam
Just tell them to wear a mask when they're around you.
We wore a mask while we were making food earlier but it wasn't enough apparently.
If she gave the option to say in my room to "quarantine" and then took it away? If she admitted it could be a flu but she doesn't care? If we wore a mask while making food around them? Fuck off.
Don't listen to this cuck. If you're sick enough to need medical attention then fine, otherwise try not to spread whatever and go on with your life as normal.
Exactly.
