It was a love fest lots of people taking pics and chit chatting no one was in a hurry to get to the Capitol. Just kinda chill walking waving flags and singing or chanting USA.
Well, until the wind really picked up at the end of the speech. It got REALLY cold. The crowd streched from the security area, all the way back past the Memorial, where I was at the top of the hill, and filled in the entire elipse below.
It’s a almost 2 miles, so slow walking yeah. The other thing is the mall was packed with people wasn’t it?
