May be they did not see them as rioters. They looked to me like American citizens protesting a stolen election. I hope the police union gets in on this act.
I don't know about blowing the Democrat's narrative wide open, but it definitely blew mine wide open. It was only last week when I commented that most cops were simply the "coercive enforcers of corrupt local Democrat politicians".

You see, we can all learn something from one another. I learned that I can be wrong. That there's more to a person than if they're wearing a police uniform. If they are calling for backup. If they are getting ready to pepper spray me. I learned today that yes, we are all one.
At the door they were telling us, and I quote," you need to be pushing in. You guys are working against yourselves" by leaving. There were many that seemed sympathetic to our cause. One officer put on a MAGA hat and led a line of armored officers out of the building while high fiving protesters. Anyone see video of that?
I believe there were 2 separate groups that entered the Capitol. One was planned agitators who were followed by media who entered through the back. The others were let in the front door like the flag granny and people who just wandered around like tourists.
Considering the discrimination that is about to hit trump supporters you should exercise your rights to a union,trump made it easier for you in the ppp loans,.if not union up anyway.

Taking pictures just like tourists. Even staying between the ropes.
There were agitators wearing hints of pink and others wearing orange.
