A third Party would keep the Republicans honest. Also whoever runs for President in 2024 on the Republican side will NEED Trump's approval, without one they have zero chance.
So, 1) why not make it formal and have a third party in which all the disinfranchised Republicans can move to 2) have a third Party in which people that donate know thier money isnt going to be wasted and siphoned off to the corrupt elements of the Republican party.
As a bonus, if Trump indeed sets up his own media, social media platforms, a third party set up by him would tie in very nicely with them. Everyone in the Party would have a voice and would not be silenced.
I will make it easier, how about take away splitting the vote as an argument , what else do people have as to why Trump shouldnt abandon the Republican Party (that abandoned him) and start his own Party?

We definitely need something to compete with the media and social media. We don’t have a chance if we don’t. Controlling the narrative is everything.
