I was in NYC a few weeks ago. Completely dead city. Only restaurants that were open were in Chinatown and Little Italy and they had to build shelters on the curb so people could stay warm while eating "outside".
Dude I live in Manhattan and it’s only dead if you care about clubbing and theaters. Which I don’t. You’re free to walk around without masks. Tons of decent spots with sidewalk dining. Rents at a massive discount downtown + me getting a nice side gig means I’ve moved from Harlem to a high rise in Financial district.
It’s as mobb deep said: survival of the fittest.
NY will be fine. It’s only the bums who aren’t, and Cuomo makes it worse than what it is.
