Especially when you reflect that these things really did happen, and just a generation or two ago. And that it's what the scum in power have in plan for us even today.
Indeed. What makes it so depressing is the fact that Soviet-based societies eventually all ended up being organized around lies. Which is exactly where we're headed (or are currently at, depending on your viewpoint).
