I keep thinking of the footage of the single police officer yelling, "get back!" over & over as he's retreating, finding & picking up a conveniently placed baton lying in the middle of the floor, then doing the backward retreat up the stairs, still yelling "get back!!" at the group ambling unthreateningly toward him.

The footage felt fake, set up, and overacted as it was, but even more so imagining the entire scene, with the photographer behind the cop capturing the whole thing. It had to have been a professional, too, because they'd be going backward up the stairs without any chaotic filmwork like turning back to see the steps they are going up, etc.

In fact, what that officer is doing is leading the crowd to the room where multiple professional cameramen are already waiting.
