And if you were stupid enough to vote for the gas tax several years ago. The one where Newsom promised that all revenue would go directly to fix bridges, roads, and other infrastructure. The tax was projected to raise $50 Billion over 10 years.

Newsom recently signed an EO to steal $5 Billion per year from revenues to combat climate change.

Various projects have now been scaled back. Two lanes were to be added to Hwy 99. Mid construction, Cal-trans now is taking funds from other projects to complete the lanes. Other projects are on hold now.

Fool some people, some of the time.

Fool the CA taxpayers most of the time.

Then there’s that brain trust called the Bullet Train. Scaffolds and tracks leading nowhere dotting the landscape like an abandoned junkyard. $90 billion dollars last I heard? Golden State, what a joke...

Good point. Even commie Illinois took a hard pass on "free" billions from Obama for trains to nowhere. They knew it would break them and were talking Illinois.
