Well given that the democrats have said they would prosecute him and his family, send his supporters to concentration camps for re-education, undo all the work he has gotten done over the past four years, and sell out the country to China, I would say he is going to fight like hell. What would you do under those circumstances? Fighting seems the only thing left to do. I suppose he could run and hide but for some reason, Donald Trump does not strike me as a coward.

I’ve been and remain a huge Trump supporter, but aside from some pardons, I think this will all be a big nothin burger. We’ll be left to scrape and claw to either Primary Republicans or build a new party. We’ll have to demand loudly and constantly secure elections, and raise hell about it in a sustained manner for years. Meanwhile, the Democrats will be doing everything they can with their stolen power to permanently destroy the country. Dark days and a long battle ahead. I don’t believe there is a plan, just hopium. Downvote me to hell and super ban me, just my two cents.

Well I do not intend to downvote your post. My logical brain wants to agree with what you are saying, but I am holding out hope that he makes a stand. I am not sure there would be a way for the country to recover from what they have planned and is why I am talking with our state reps in Austin, to put forth the secession measure on the 2021 ballot.. If things go badly in the next 9 days, we need to start building either a Fortress Texas or a Lifeboat Texas to defend what is left of the Republic.

In Texas and I signed that representative's petition. States will have to take a stand. Our votes were disenfranchised. It wasn't because we simply lost that we should leave like the idiots of Calexit did after Trump won. We were defrauded and then were never allowed to have our grievances addressed by ANYONE!

People need to support the state of jefferson the 51st state. To undermined california and oregon. We all voted to leave and it fell on feds deaf ears...

This is a good backup strategy. I'll fight like there is no tomorrow for Indiana to join.

Fore, there will be no tomorrow if we fail today.

DA DA DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUM.

I hope Wyoming gets in on that. I'm planning on moving there in the next 3 years.

What about Texas secession? Is that a reasonable possibility?

5
Darkleaf20 5 points ago +5 / -0

It is built into Texas's statehood the right to secede.

How bout we say reasonableish. The hope is for a Brexit style of secession but that could take a few years. The way it works is the measure requires the voters to decide, if they say yes, then the legislature writes up the articles of secession and sends it to the governor for signature. Then the actual hard part begins. I expect that the federal government would step in right around the time the governor is about to sign the bill into law. We can either expect lawfare with the feds suing or actual military force at that point. BTW everyone says this is a settled issue because of the War Between the States. However, if you look at all the actual paperwork at the time including legal cases, they always used the term "the states in rebellion & Texas", or "the CSA & Texas" etc. We were always added in on the tail end because technically, we negotiated into the Union as a country and the US accepted us knowing that the ability to leave the union was in the Republic's Constitution. Legally that issue has never been resolved for us specifically.

Interesting. Thanks for explaining. I really hope, if the evil satanists get in, this happens. Strongest way to send a message, but also why stay associated with a commie country that no longer has free speech, censors the internet, locks up political opponents and followers, locks up protesters, no longer has the right to vote/rigs election, no longer follows the constitution, is friends with CCP, pushes racist woke policy, destroys the economy with extreme regulation/tax/hyperinflation etc. ? Texas would be far better off without (as would all states)

The rational part of me agrees with you 100%. The part of me that doesn't want to blow my own brains all over the wall believes that Trump is from the future and has everything planned out to the letter.

He has nothing to lose. He either comes out victorious or he and america are killed.

He will not back down. As the Rock Dwane Johnson once said, “ you got to go through life sometimes with your back against a fucking wall in order to make results”

A man with nothing to lose and all to gain, well that scares dems at the moment.
