I too was an atheist for a large portion of my life until I called out to Jesus and He saved me to my surprise. Jesus definitely rocks, I hope you come to Him as well my friend.
For any atheists out there, consider reading Mere Christianity, written by one of the world's greatest minds, C.S. Lewis, who was once an atheist himself.
I would love this as long as it doesn't become a place where we start taking swipes at each other depending on our own personal flavor of Christianity.
Too often the various denominations spend more time denigrated the others than actually practicing the faith.
I'd bet it's been a common theme for centuries. Aren't good honest uncorruptible popes with actual Christian values a rarity in history? So few people can resist the temptations of power.
I think a simple solution to that is to make posts aimed at your preferred sect. True Christians will respect differences. Anyone who is disrespectful can be deported
A discussion forum for people who want to learn more about God, Jesus, and the Bible? A place where we can ponder scripture and have meaningful discussion with an occasional dank meme? Yea, I could use that in my life.
I'm actually going to pray for this. I enjoy TDW. I would like to explore faith with others who enjoy a dank meme. I've been looking for something like this.
As this oslce grows I'm going to bounce from holding the line here and if they add a religious area I'll be there too. I only have so much time, but I wouldn't ever give up on both of them
This sounds nice, but is a dumpster fire in practice. You see it all over facebook. If we really did agree in one spirit, it would work, but there is so much division, this inevitably becomes a ton of infighting over doctrine.
More to the point: it probably wouldn't function as a giant melting pot. Heck, that barely works here; pedes get into shouting matches with each other about who's a real Trump ally and who's not, what's a psy-op or a LARP and what's real, and so on. It would only be worse when you get dispensationalists, amillennialists, Calvinists, Arminians, charismatics, cessationists, and, of course, all the denominations in one place.
To function properly, it might have to be divided, and sub-divided, not by theological preference but by subject. If you want to talk eschatology, you hop onto the eschatology tab, then look for posts tagged with your particular interest. Of course, there should always be one page left for general discussion.
And, of course, the site should moderate itself as strictly as we do here. Posts that don't fit the mission of being a 24/7 rally don't last long here. Nor should posts that don't fit the mission of helping build and edify Christian community survive there. It is a place for Christianity and should stay that way.
True, there are differences here all the time. If the users have TDW style thick skin, it could work. I do like the idea. I LOVE the outward Christian aspect of this place.
All I'm going to say here is that everyone told us this place couldn't be done. They said it wouldn't be the same. They said it was more trouble than it was worth.
Look at us now... So all I'm going to say is if anyone can do it, it's probably these people.
In fact, I expect it to devolve into the occasional argument or low moral. People struggle with God. That's okay. But if anyone can do it, we can. We'll get through it together and we'll get out the good news of Jesus Christ, that's what it's about in the end.
Nah... With the upvote down vote system. It allows for everyone to post. No one to be censored and the solid debates. To rise to the top. Facebook is a shitty forum for discussion. It quickly becomes an echo chamber for the loudest mouth.
Atheist(ish) here. I love Jesus. Do it. It’s better, much better than growing up without traditions and culture. People are so F’ing dumb they don’t understand how important it is to grow up with a basic understanding of Christian thought. We need more people who respect the traditions of Christ... I don’t even care if they are real. It’s the understanding that counts.
Pretty much. They talk about being progressive but they don't talk about what they're progressing toward-a world where wrong is right and right is wrong. That's exactly what Satan once so it sure as heck is Satan worship
I love how I grew up hearing "bible thumper" as a durogotory term but we're able to take those things and turn it into a good thing. Now I hear "bible thumper" and it's a compliment
I never wanted to be a Christian growing up. I never even understood those people. Turns out I was wrong on that one. Jesus is the only way. He brings nothing but good news
I'm an atheist but I bought a bible at a small Christian book store in town, mostly to support local Christians. Plus to have a solid bible to read Proverbs out of genuine interest.
Whether this leads to finding Jesus or not, I'll support the right to be Christian.
A little generic. As a Christian I know there is only one God. However. Not sure the mods should be dismissing other religions who also believe in God. I would prefer the sub to be specifically Christian at the moment. Just my 2c.
This is an excellent idea. It'd be like taking the nasty communist secularist bs out of reddit and making it good again. I can already see it:
To any nonbelievers, any questions for us Christians?
I'm catholic/Baptist/Mormon etc and I'm curious about all other sects of Christianity: what's yours and what do you like/dislike about it?
Frenz...I've been having doubts about my faith...advice?
Just an appreciation post for our Lord and Savior Jesus!
That's got me thinking... I've been curious about Christianity but I've realized it would probably make sense for me to get a lay of the land to see what flavour of Christianity I'd be most aligned with before taking the big step of becoming Christian.
Christian here, last time this happened, it was r/Christianity on reddit and it's FILLED with muslims and atheists trying to "persuade" people that the Bible is fake.
I think christianity.win would need to have a similar stance as TDW. It's for Christians. It's not for debating Christianity. No shills. "Deport" those who can't get along.
I joined reddit for r/Christanity in the olden-days of public square, before the taint lefted in. It could be nice to build another community like that; just no u/brucemo; none, evAr.
Can we get a Mormon one while we're at it please I know we're weird... But... Please? The only Mormon subreddits a are full of liberal "mormons" who've been totally brainwashed by the left :(
I agree. However the request is for a totally separate forum. Like the other communities on .win that need a home away from the intolerant left run social media.
What's it going to be like over there, crusader memes, ad-hock prayer sessions, and wacky theological debates?
You misunderstand, those are things that I like.
Yes. Exactly.
Sounds wonderful.
Done. Thank you for the information!
And hopefully a permanent sticky discussing “The Chosen” series.
YES!!!!
I just watched the first season. I really enjoyed it. Hopefully a second one will come soon
Sounds awesome.
I'd be down for some based Christian memes and I'm an atheist. Jesus rocks.
I too was an atheist for a large portion of my life until I called out to Jesus and He saved me to my surprise. Jesus definitely rocks, I hope you come to Him as well my friend.

I found the catholic!!! Jk
Yep. Not going to lie. I am a Catholic. Old school Catholic too. The ones that have no use for the globalist puppet soiling the Vatican. Come at me.
Americans need to take back their country. And Catholics need to do the same with their church. They both have been coopted by commies.
Amen brother.
No disagreement there.
This is why it would be so much fun!
I'm catholic too and I can't stand the pope.
It's a common theme these days in the church.
I'd bet it's been a common theme for centuries. Aren't good honest uncorruptible popes with actual Christian values a rarity in history? So few people can resist the temptations of power.
You know, it's been awhile since you guys had an anti-Pope. Maybe you're due for one?
We definitely have one now. All those false stories about his arrest had me salivating like Pavlov's dog.
I wish there was a cool label for me. Quaker?
Are you a quaker?
It's the closest thing I found. I am in a society of Frens here on the Donald. :)
Lmao
The pope will have to be the only mod initially, that should speed up the breakup
No. Let's start with Godwill.win.
This! lol
I think a simple solution to that is to make posts aimed at your preferred sect. True Christians will respect differences. Anyone who is disrespectful can be deported
TheJesus.win
^^^^^this
Personally, I'd prefer Jesus.win
JesusWill.Win
Even better!
He already did!
TheChrist.win has my vote.
Jesus.won
This is the best one I see
Jesus.IsKing!
Godwill.win is my fave ❤ All great ideas!
❤️
Lol Dude 🐸
I'll lead a weekly .win Bible study if we get this. We can be our own virtual (not-so-small) small group!
Based
Bible-based
Cringianity dot stop
Lol.... I can see it now. All raging ontology, epistemology, and dad jokes.
Some of the most cringe stuff I've ever read was posted here. No community is immune

All Jesus did was tell THE truth.
Have faith frens
❤️🇺🇲✝️
Babes for Christ!!!
Just joking. It's a good idea.
I can already see the forum sliding in action.
Only in full robes
Today's sermon will be delivered by Father Fatfucker. Please rise.
yea u bitches better listen ill save ur stank ass soul with the word of god

Having said that, I’m game, and hope to be proven wrong.
Firstly, beautiful username.

It just needs tags. If the methodist free-love quasi-hemi-demi-pansexual nephilimites can just be screened out, then peace is attainable. ;)

And no progressive Christianity allowed. It's not real Christianity
Satan worshipping.

I saved up a few bucks and bought a 180 dollar bible and it was an amazing decision because I read it more because it's more fun to hold
I might have spent too much but I have no regrets
How about God.win?
Love it
A little generic. As a Christian I know there is only one God. However. Not sure the mods should be dismissing other religions who also believe in God. I would prefer the sub to be specifically Christian at the moment. Just my 2c.
It is my favorite and my official request as I stalk our mods at u/doggos and u/c
Amen
Yes give it!!!!
One nation under God

Deus vult
Yes yes and yes
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
Amen and a woman to this. But seriously, I would post there
Amen to that
Yes please
Give Jesus blue eyes to piss of some people.
At long as he winks when I click on him!
Seconded
Yep
Christian here, last time this happened, it was r/Christianity on reddit and it's FILLED with muslims and atheists trying to "persuade" people that the Bible is fake.
People who have Faith and understand basic scripture will never be deterred. It will strengthen us. It is our home base. The only thing that matters.
I think christianity.win would need to have a similar stance as TDW. It's for Christians. It's not for debating Christianity. No shills. "Deport" those who can't get along.
Godwill.win! It's perfect u/doggos
I joined reddit for r/Christanity in the olden-days of public square, before the taint lefted in. It could be nice to build another community like that; just no u/brucemo; none, evAr.
that would be cool, i dont really have nowhere to do that atm
Okay, I'm going to be petty. THIS WAS MY IDEA!!!! Check my post history. But seriously, hope it happens.
Yesss everyone pls upvote so they see
Amen and Awoman 🙏🙏
We need a place to slam the spineless cucks at the Gospel Coalition.
How about Jesusforthe.win
http://communities.win/ would be the formal place to request... but seeing this is top of "rising" it'll probably be seen
Can we get a Mormon one while we're at it please I know we're weird... But... Please? The only Mormon subreddits a are full of liberal "mormons" who've been totally brainwashed by the left :(
Fuck that, mods, get serious:
Catholicism.Win
We honestly don't need to distinguish between pedes who believe in God and those who don't. That's not what this forum is about.
We would be a different forum. A free forum that allows us to discuss our Faith. Free from religious persecution as God and our forefathers intended.
I agree. However the request is for a totally separate forum. Like the other communities on .win that need a home away from the intolerant left run social media.
It's not only for pedes. It's part of the greater Win community.
