Me: Too bad about the few at the capital who did bad things. Probably agitators.
Him: Yeah I kind of agree. But I just wish it never got to this point. The racist stuff Trump says doesn't help.
Me: Oh yeah... er I mean, well what racist stuff exactly?
Him: Well you know just all that stuff.
Me: No I can't think of anything... can you give me a specific example?
Him:....
Me: I need a specific example. I really want to know what he said because if he did that's terrible!
Him: well I can't think of anything right now but yeah...
Me: Can I tell you about Charlottesville?
Okay. I touched on Charlottesville and how the press selectively reported on his words. My buddy just didn't know because he's been out of the political loop really for years. He was a huge 9-11 conspiracy guy. Ahead of his time. We used to laugh at him and now I believe 9-11 was an inside job 100% for sure. After what we have seen now I have no doubt. So he is open minded enough to talk to. He never freaks out like a TDS person. So I reminded him how he used to be back then during 9-11.
I said this: "You know, it's not even about Trump or Biden... it's about America. It's about our enemies who want to destroy our country. They can't do it through military so they have to divide the people to hate one another. Look now, our country is fractured because of the lack of confidence in the election Whether you think it was stolen or not does not matter. The enemy mission is about to be accomplished and it doesn't matter if Trump or Biden is in.
Heck, you know and I know we have been getting ROBBED by our politicians for decades. Did you SEE what's in the COVID bill? (he had). Fuck if people are storming the capital it should be over that alone!!!

Well put. I too always use the argument that politicians have been ripping us off for decades. Everyone agrees to that even though the left prefers to forget about that. The covid relief bill is unarguably the best proof of just that.
